SSI SCHAEFER approached SAHAL from its Singapore office to create a B2B case study film showcasing its warehouse automation solution for Brands For Less in Dubai.

The project required us to turn a highly technical logistics system into a clear and engaging visual story. The 6,000 m² distribution centre combines automated storage and retrieval technologies, conveyors, vertical lifts and a 4D tote shuttle system capable of storing and retrieving up to 123,000 totes. With 32 roaming shuttles working across the system, the solution was designed to improve storage efficiency, inventory visibility and picking accuracy.
To tell the story properly, our team first immersed ourselves in how the warehouse and its automation systems actually worked. We developed the storyboard and filming plan around the operational flow, identifying the processes, technology and people that needed to be captured on camera.
We handled the production in Dubai from pre-production through filming and post-production, including location planning, storyboard development, filming inside the operational warehouse and interviews with key Brands For Less stakeholders. The result combines the technology itself with first-hand perspectives from the people using the system, turning a complex warehouse automation project into a practical B2B success story.
